Tear of the Moon began as an under-painting of acrylics marbleized on a floating surface of swirled paints. I then used the background shapes to direct my placement of imagery. The images symbolize the threatening or extinction of certain species of the earth, and the resulting sadness of our elders reflecting on this loss, as well as the unknown future environment of our youth. This painting is owned by Ed Putta.
