I believe that in this new millennium we are continuing on a human odyssey that explores the mysteries and potential of existence. I am a firm believer in the idea of a collective conscience because, as an artist, I am awed by the power of symbols to speak to different people of different time periods in the same way.

Many of the paintings and drawings linked to this page represent people of varied backgrounds and ages who have all experienced what I believe to be the key factor of our past 20th century and present 21st century human odyssey…achievement of grace despite adversity.

The people I have represented in several of these artworks serve in a small way as symbols of the vast human capacity for affirmation in our modern world. I feel lucky to be a part of this odyssey.
